Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3 begins in Rivington, a town on the outskirts of the main city. Players can come across several quests in Rivington, including one called Investigate the Suspicious Toys. This focuses on an especially nefarious plot to give refugee children toy bears full of explosives.
To start this quest, players must explore one of two restricted locations in Rivington, and to complete it, players must eventually track down a location in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate. Read on to learn exactly how to complete this unusual quest in Baldur's Gate 3.

Baldur's Gate 3: Find Mol Quest Walkthrough
This guide will help players complete Find Mol, a potentially-confusing quest that can be initiated during Act 2 of Baldur's Gate 3.
Updated on February 29, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: Upon arriving at Rivington in Baldur's Gate 3, players will immediately notice a poor villager fighting with Arfur Gregorio. Approach them and start a conversation to understand what's going on and also trigger the quest in Baldur's Gate 3. You will face some problems while completing the mission, but they won't be difficult as there isn't much fighting involved. However, the last step of the Suspicious Toys quest, on the other hand, may be tricky, so keep that in mind.
Investigate Arfur's Basement In Baldur's Gate 3
One of the first things players will stumble across in Act 3 is a man named Arfur Gregorio arguing with a refugee family that's using his house. Players can resolve this dispute however they like because it has no real effect on how the Suspicious Toys quest goes. The only thing that changes is where players will find Arfur later on.
Once the dispute is over, players should enter Arfur's house and enter the room directly across from the front door. There's a hatch in this room concealed by a table on the right. A Perception check will highlight the hatch, but players can find it even without a successful roll.
The hatch leads to Arfur's Basement. Move carefully down here, because the room is full of tripwire traps that set off explosive fireworks. On the far side of the basement, players can spot a trapped Heavy Chest
. Open the chest to get a pile of gold and a Blackmail Letter. Read the letter to either begin or continue the Suspicious Toys quest.
Search The Requisitioned Barn In Baldur's Gate 3
The other starting location for this quest is the Requisitioned Barn in the refugee camp section of the map. The Flaming Fist guards who took over the barn will get upset if they catch the party inside, but Baldur's Gate 3 players can use stealth, spells, and potions to avoid their attention. You can also try to persuade him to get inside.
In the northern corner of the barn, players will see a crate full of toy bears. Keep in mind that this crate might not appear until the party comes close. An Investigation check will reveal that the crate is trapped, and a party member can then use Sleight of Hand to disarm it. If the party fails to notice the trap, players can still advance the quest by trying to interact with the crate. This will cause it to explode.
Whether players disarm or set off the crate, a Flaming Fist named Manip Nestor will approach the party and ask what's going on. The speaker must pass a Persuasion DC 15 or a Deception DC 20 to convince Nestor that they aren't responsible for the bears, at which point they can leave without starting a fight or getting arrested. This is the only time the Flaming Fist will get involved with this quest.

Baldur's Gate 3: Where is Dammon the Infernal Mechanic (Act 1, 2, & 3)
Players that are working on Baldur's Gate 3's The Hellion's Heart quest can find details on the location of Dammon, the infernal mechanic, here.
Confront Arfur In Baldur's Gate 3
Players can complete the previous steps in either order, but they must do both before they can confront Arfur with what they know. Depending on how players handled the refugees, Arfur will either be in his house or the performance room of Sharess' Caress.
To get more information from Arfur, Baldur's Gate 3 players must pass an Intimidation DC 10 check. If they do, Arfur will cave and tell the party about the deliveries he gets from Felogyr's Fireworks in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate. He'll also give the party his Admission Pass to Gortash's coronation, which can get them past the Wyrm's Rock Fortress drawbridge.
Players can also accept a bribe from Arfur, let him go, or kill him. The party can get Arfur's money and his pass from his body, or just the money as a bribe, but none of these options will advance the quest. Still, players can get the name Felogyr from the Blackmail Letter and use that to track down the operation. The map marker players get from advancing the quest is helpful, but not essential.

Baldur's Gate 3: The Best Quests
The best quests in Baldur's Gate 3 add depth to this vibrant RPG. Here's how to complete them all.
Destroy Felogyr's Fireworks In Baldur's Gate 3
Felogyr's Fireworks is southwest of Basilisk Gate, directly south of Sorcerous Sundries, and just up the stairs from the Heapside Strand waypoint. Inside, players will see Avery Sonshal teaching a child about firework safety, and then discover that he has an Absolutist tadpole in him.
If players Intimidated Arfur, they'll have a password that will get them up to the second floor and a trader who sells a variety of grenades and poisons. However, the clerk and guard on this floor will refuse to let the party up to the third floor. This third floor is where players will find a group of Banites using the fireworks store as a front to create explosives, including the ones used to stuff inside of children's toys.
Assuming players aren't siding with Gortash and the church of Bane, the only way to resolve this quest is to destroy the operation. Fortunately, doing so is much easier than the number of potential enemies would suggest. Both the second and third floors of the store are packed with explosive barrels and fireworks, so have someone sneak up to the third floor and use a flaming arrow or Fire Bolt on one of the barrels. This will set off a chain reaction that will clear most of the enemies off the floor.
Players should also keep in mind that Avery and the guards on the lower floors will turn hostile at the same time as the Banites on the top floor. Avery is a particularly dangerous enemy because he's a big fan of Fire spells like Fire Bolt, Burning Hands, and Fireball. If players don't use the explosive barrels against their enemies, Avery will use them against the party.
Once all the staff in Felogyr's Fireworks are down, the Investigate the Suspicious Toys quest will come to an end. Just be careful about exploring and looting the top floor of the store, because the area is still forbidden and Flaming Fist units will stop the party from trespassing if they're nearby.
