Halsin is an important Druid in the world of Baldur's Gate 3, and players may find themselves searching for him as they attempt to address their tadpole. Finding Halsin can prove to be a bit difficult, though, and some fans may end up frustrated as they pursue him. For those players that are indeed struggling to track down Halsin in Baldur's Gate 3, this guide contains details on his precise position.
Updated September 1st, 2023: Players who want to ensure they unlock all possible companions in Baldur's Gate 3 will want to find Halsin during Act I. Although players will likely end up uncovering the Goblin Camp by simply exploring, finding Halsin within can be a bit tricky for those who don't know where to look. To better help players with how to find Halsin in Baldur's Gate 3, the following guide has been updated with a video that shows his location inside the Goblin Camp.
Baldur's Gate 3: Where to Find Halsin
Players that are searching for Halsin must make their way to the Goblin Camp. To reach this location, fans should follow the road west out of the Blighted Village, which is situated to the southwest of the Emerald Grove, and then turn northward to cross the bridge near coordinates X:-106 Y:372.
After crossing the bridge, Baldur's Gate 3 players should continue northward to reach the Heavy Oak Doors at coordinates X:-106 Y:454. The Shattered Sanctum is just beyond those doors, and fans will need to convince the goblins that are inside to allow them to pass through the main interior door.
Fans that keep heading north within the Shattered Sanctum will soon encounter True Soul Gut standing atop a platform, and there are two flights of stairs immediately to her east. Players should climb one of those flights of stairs and then follow the path at the top northeastward to reach a door at coordinates X:342, 31.
This door leads to the Worg Pens, and players can find Halsin (in bear form) in the cell at coordinates X:400 Y:-28. To free this Baldur's Gate 3 Druid, players can use dialogue to convince the goblins that are harassing him to open the cell. Alternatively, fans can simply initiate combat with the goblins and slay them all.
Once Halsin is free, players must make some decisions about how they will proceed. Indeed, if the player is interested in saving the refugees of Druids' Grove, they may want to have Halsin join them in killing the goblin leaders in Baldur's Gate 3. And if the player prefers to see the Grove burn, they may want to kill the Druid on the spot.
To note, if a player clears the Goblin Camp and performs a Long Rest in Baldur's Gate 3 before finding Halsin, it is possible that the Druid will not appear in the location that has been indicated. If that occurs, fans are advised to make their way to the Emerald Grove, as Halsin should be in the area.
Baldur's Gate 3 is available now on PC. A PS5 version releases on September 6.
