While he gets progressively stronger, Lloyd is a beast from the very first episode. He constantly goes out of his way to demonstrate his incredible magic, usually at the expense of an arrogant enemy who quickly learns the virtue of not judging a book by its cover.

Crucially, the anime has the style and production value to properly bring to life these showcases by delivering some of the most visually striking fight sequences in the reincarnation or isekai genre. I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability is also hilarious, with Lloyd's power consistently sparking dumbfounded reactions from both enemies and allies.
