Magical cookies are some of the strongest units in Cookie Run Kingdom, and are capable of turning the tide on the opposition and keeping enemies at bay. Among all available types of cookies, magical cookies in Cookie Run Kingdom are highly sought after due to their high power levels and the ability to apply Crystal Jams to several units. While Moonlight Cookie has been around for quite some time, a new update has made her incredibly overpowered and worth investing time and resources on.

Moonlight Cookie is one of five available Legendary Cookies, placing her in a class higher than most of the Cookie Run Kingdom roster. Released during the Invitation from the Slumbering Moon 4.0 update (v4.0), Moonlight Cookie has served many teams as one of the most-powerful cookies in the game, standing toe-to-toe with another Legendary Magic cookie, Frost Queen Cookie. Pairing the duo together could be the one-two punch players need to blast through the story mode, but building them up will take some patience.

Cookie Run Kingdom: Star Coral Cookie Build and Best Toppings

Star Coral Cookie is the latest addition to the Cookie Run Kingdom, and this support unit could be the new meta game-changer that players need to win.

Moonlight Cookie is a Magic cookie that attacks from the middle row, which means it's worth placing her on a team that has at least one of the best defense cookies in Cookie Run Kingdom. This is strictly to ensure her safety throughout the battle and give her time to recharge her skill and send waves of magical attacks towards the enemy. Moonlight Cookie is also the only Legendary cookie in the game not to have a specific element, making her a well-rounded attacker.

Skill: Dream of the Night Sky

Moonlight Cookie falls asleep in the night sky and dreams a dream where stars fall onto the enemies' heads, dealing damage and applying a DMG Increase debuff. Then, bright moonlight illuminates the battlefield, dealing damage to the enemies and putting them to Sleep. Enemies that didn't fall Asleep become Drowsy and will eventually fall Asleep when their resistance statuses wear off. When Moonlight Cookie awakens, she will restore her own HP. She will also restore her own HP upon awakening from Sleep effects cast by enemies.

Being a dweller of the World of Dreams, Moonlight Cookie is not susceptible to the Beckoning Dreams & Dream of Doom effect. (DMG relative to Max HP is capped at 300,000).

Moonlight Cookie Run Kingdom

Thanks to the Song of the Night Sea 5.8 update, building up Moonlight Cookie's topping grid has become much easier to perfect and has the potential to break the game. Naturally, players will want to focus on one specific type of topping in order to earn the set effect bonus, which is granted to players that use five of the same toppings. In Moonlight Cookie's case, Moonkissed Raspberry toppings offer her the best stat boosts that will target her biggest flaws and make her nearly indestructible in battle.

As a magical cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom, players will want to reduce the amount of damage she faces. Moonkissed Raspberry toppings run a better chance of earning bigger boosts to DMG Resist and CRIT Resist, significantly bringing down the amount of damage Moonlight Cookie will take in battle. Moonkissed Raspberry toppings also raise the user's attack by a nice margin, and if players can get some Cooldown reduction as well, Moonlight Cookie will be a devastating unit for any team.

There are a few methods players can use to raise a cookie's power in Cookie Run Kingdom outside the routine of bringing up their level and skill to 80. With Beascuits now available in Cookie Run Kingdom, players can obtain these valuable items in the Beast-Yeast stages and equip them on cookies that are a part of the same type of attack unit as the Beascuit. These accessories grant units additional stat boosts, targeting their best stats and making them much stronger.

Moonlight Cookie also has a Crystal Jam that can be obtained by playing through her Crystal Jam stage. This mode is dedicated to obtaining crystals to go towards raising a cookie's Crystal Jam and giving them access to another skill that can be used in battle. Moonlight Cookie is the fourth unit in Cookie Run Kingdom to have a stage for farming her crystals. Players can earn them by playing through a number of levels, with each stage becoming more difficult than the last.

Crystal Jam Skill: Twinkling Starry Sky

Moonlight Cookie's power grows stronger, enhancing and changing her skill. Brilliant Starlight rains down from the deep blue night sky, dealing damage to enemies. Moonlight Cookie will also inflict a debuff, increasing incoming damage, put them to Sleep, and deal additional damage proportional to each Cookie's Max HP. After this, Gleaming Moonlight will shine upon the enemies, dealing damage. Cookies affected by the moonlight will receive even greater damage. Moonlight Cookie is immune to the Sleep and Drowsy effects, and Sleep will restore her HP instead. Also, Beckoning Dreams and Dream of Doom have no effect on Moonlight Cookie.
