Description

Travel through an endless array of increasingly diverse and dangerous star systems, prospecting for rare materials, trading with alien life, populate planets and searching for clues to the meaning of the universe's mysterious existence. How you survive is up to you. Assemble entire fleets of dreadnought-class freighters and tear across the universe; build sprawling habitable bases across planet surfaces, beneath the ground or under the ocean; buy and upgrade your own weapons and star ships and do battle with outlaw space pirates, hostile alien fauna or the mysterious sentinel fleets. The universe is yours to explore - trillions upon trillions of planets, waiting to be discovered.

No Man's Sky is a game whose ambitious promises may have hurt it in the long run, but it's hard to deny the impressive framework and gameplay loop Hello Games created.

Agreed that is certainly a great number of stars to convey in being agreeable to something,However when it comes to NMS there really isn't enough for me. This is "My game" it feels like home which is funny that you spend almost your whole gametime looking for a home like Galaxy,and planet to set up shop..I really do absolutely find No man's Sky the perfect game everyone should try it,it just couldn't be more of an adventure filled game,seems to always be changing. It's a beautiful place almost everywhere in NO Man's Sky ...

I think they need to have more stuff to loot, like structures. Well more then it has. Kind of like in Skyrim. I love how they added the overseer's missions. But I wish you could customize the settlement more like in fallout 4 PATON PENDING!!!!!!!! NEW GAME IDEA?????

I remember having so much faith in this game, and playing the earliest version of it, feeling somewhat dissatisfied yet accepted what it was. But then the creators of the game kept expanding it, refining it, reshaping it, knowing full well it was rushed out into existence. By 2024, it's realized its near-full potential, offering an incredible amount of places to be, things to collect and learn about. The only thing lacking is it's slightly lackluster combat, but it's not trying to be an action RPG, it's trying to be No Man's Sky, and it's very good at it. After playing Bethesda's Starfield, I couldn't help but keep thinking about No Man's Sky and how much better of an exploration game it is.

Surely things didn't start quite well for No Man's Sky but the devs made up for it.
No Man's Sky is now one of the biggest games with tons of content, though some basic problems like the shallow combat still remains a problem!

Played it for several years now, on and off, and it never gets old or obsolete. Hello games did and does an amazing job to make it better and more interesting. In a world where gaming is more and more about earning(milking) money, with game passes and seasons and DLCs and in-game purchases, No Man's Sky stands as an example that some developers still make games with passion.

Though the unique approach and insane scale of this game is very impressive, I find it does get boring rather quickly, and unless you are willing to seriously commit to a long grind, it is hard to construct anything very satisfying.
