Ominous dark clouds are spreading in the sky above the Alola region, the setting of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. In these adventures, a story unfolds on a grand scale, with the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma at its centre. Secrets about Necrozma and the Alola region – undisclosed in the previous games – will come to light.

In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, you can explore the various worlds that lie through the Ultra Wormholes. Within an Ultra Wormhole, there are countless warp holes that lead to different worlds. Try exploring different worlds by passing through these warp holes. You can even go to the home worlds of the mysterious Ultra Beasts!
More than 400 Pokémon will be discoverable in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, many of which were not available in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. Some of these Pokémon will only appear depending on which version of the game is played. For example, in the same patch of tall grass where Houndoom will appear in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Manectric will appear in Pokémon Ultra Moon. You’ll also encounter new Ultra Beasts on your adventures around Alola!
