Dr. Stone fans eagerly await the release of the anime's final season. In November, the official account associated with the anime released a new visual and a teaser to increase the overall excitement. Recently, the official X (formerly Twitter) account for Dr. Stone has released a new promotional video.

Like any promotional video, its purpose is to hype fans for Dr. Stone Science Future. In the video, viewers can see Senku and the other main players who will play a crucial role in the final season. Dr. Stone Science Future will release the first part on January 9, 2025.

Dr. Stone's final season will see the main cast make a return. So fans can expect to see the following voice actors back in action.

Kenji Nojima and Koji Yusa were confirmed as new additions in a recent update. Aside from the two new voice actors, Dr. Stone fans can expect to see more new voice actors joining the series.

A key reason behind Dr. Stone's success has been the talented staff. Some of the staff members from the previous seasons will likely reprise their roles for Dr. Stone Science Future.

While it is conjecture, fans can expect Shuhei Matsushita to direct the first part of the final season. Yuichiro Kido and Yuko Iwasa will be working on scripts and character designs, respectively. Shunichiro Yoshihara is the art director, while Jin Aketagawa is the sound director. The music will be handled by Tatsuya Kato, Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and Yuki Kanesaka. Dr. Stone began serializing in the Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017. The manga enjoyed a fine run before coming to an end in 2022. According to the latest report, Dr. Stone has sold more than 15 million copies, which is a solid number for any series.

Dr. Stone's first season aired in 2019, which consisted of 22 episodes. The second and third seasons of the anime were released in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
