Wizards of the Coast and Bungie are teaming up for a crossover between Dungeons and Dragons and Destiny 2, with new cosmetics being added to Bungie's first-person shooter in The Final Shape expansion. Destiny 2: The Final Shape will bring the conclusion of the Light and Darkness saga, which began with the release of the original Destiny game nearly a decade ago. On June 4, players will unleash their newly acquired Prismatic powers in the heart of the Traveler and team up to take on the Witness, the solar system's ultimate threat. Destiny 2 will also continue to host crossovers with other intellectual properties and brands in Year 7, with the first collaboration featuring Dungeons and Dragons.

The Destiny 2 and Dungeons and Dragons crossover celebrates the 50th anniversary of the legendary tabletop game. A newly released trailer highlights the Faer?n-inspired armor sets that will be available in the Eververse store with the launch of Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Specifically, the crossover will bring the Gold Dragon-inspired Apex Draconic set for Titans, the Mind Flayers-inspired Flayer’s Dominion set for Warlocks, and the Displacer Beast-inspired Spectral Displacer set for Hunters. Moreover, an Adventurer's Pack Bundle will be sold featuring a Queen of Dragons ship, the Owlbear Chariot, and the Eye Tyrant Ghost Shell. The Bigby's Fist Finisher and the Natural 20 Emote will also be available from the Eververse store.

Alongside the new crossover items in Destiny 2, the Bungie Store will offer an Eye Tyrant Beholder Ghost Shell vinyl figure. Pre-orders for the new vinyl figure will open on June 4, immediately with the launch of The Final Shape. Pricing for the figure has not been revealed yet, however. In addition, fans spend time vanquishing foes together in Destiny 2's new Pale Heart Raid on June 7.

Less than a week remains before Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches, and Bungie will likely share more details about the game's first episode, Echoes, sometime soon. On launch day, several items and consumables from Destiny 2 Year 6 will be vaulted and depreciated, including Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit bounties. Gameplay tweaks and balance adjustments will be made to Destiny 2 as well, such as Stasis ability reworks. Destiny 2 is heading into some uncharted territory with its new episodic model, but The Final Shape appears set to be the most impactful expansion for the game yet in terms of story and subclass options.
