- Update 5.4 will include a new Anemo unit, Yumizuki Mizuki, along reruns of characters like Furina and Sigewinne.
A new Genshin Impact web event allows players to get Primogems for free by completing a few simple steps. Primogems are widely regarded as the most important currency in all of Genshin Impact, as they are used to buy Intertwined and Acquaint Fates.
Intertwined Fates are much more popular, as they are used to pull on the Limited Character banners, which always feature either new roster additions or powerful rerun characters. The ongoing Genshin Impact update 5.3 has introduced two new Natlan characters: the Pyro Archon Mavuika and Natlan's famous fortune teller, Citlali.

Popular Genshin Impact Character Hits Unfortunate Milestone
A popular Liyue character in Genshin Impact hits an unfortunate milestone, leaving many players frustrated over their prolonged absence.
Genshin Impact has released a new web event named Rattan Immortals in celebration of the Lunar New Year. During this event, Genshin Impact players are required to complete a few different in-game activities in order to acquire Knots. These Knots can then be used to enter the Immortal Tale stages, and completing all of them will allow Genshin Impact players to earn Primogems and other rewards. After completing each stage, players will receive Story Inspiration, and reaching a certain amount will also grant additional Primogems and various character enhancement items. Regarding the event's duration, Genshin Impact has confirmed that it will run until February 9.
Genshin Impact: New Lantern Rite Web Event Revealed
Completing all of the event's tasks will grant players a total of 120 Primogems. Unfortunately, these cannot be used to pull for the two new characters, Mavuika or Citlali, since their banners have already expired. However, the ongoing Genshin Impact banner also features two very powerful characters: the Pyro Harbinger Arlecchino and Fontaine's Champion Duelist Clorinde. Both of them are considered S-tier characters in Genshin Impact's DPS role. Another thing that makes them stand out is that the two have the famous Bond-of-Life mechanic integrated into their kits.
Players who don’t want to pull for either of the two can also save up their Primogems for the upcoming update 5.4. Genshin Impact's recently held Special Program confirmed that the next update will feature a new five-star Anemo unit named Yumizuki Mizuki. Mizuki will be the only new roster addition, which means that three characters will receive a rerun.
The livestream event confirmed that the first part of the update will feature Mizuki and Sigewinne, and they are scheduled to arrive on February 12. The second part of Genshin Impact Version 5.4 is reserved for two Fontaine characters: Furina and Wriothesley. Even though Wriothesley was revealed back in update 4.1, this will be his first rerun. In comparison, his banner colleague Furina will make her third banner appearance in the next update.
