Ghost of Tsushima offers an expansive island for players to explore as they fend off the Mongol invasion. Sucker Punch hasn't abandoned the franchise, and though a sequel has yet to be announced, the studio has released a PC port that has been quite successful. There is also a movie in the works, which Chad Stahelski will direct.
For players who are impatient and eager for more Ghost of Tsushima content, Secret Level is a show to look out for. It is being developed by the same team who were responsible for Love, Death & Robots, making them the perfect team to host an anthology series based on video games. At Gamescom, a trailer was revealed, giving players a look at Jin Sakai and Kratos among a slew of other video game heroes. This could hint at more Ghost of Tsushima content, albeit in television mode. It's not yet known what Sakai will be up to in the series, making the show a rather intriguing one.

Why Secret Level is a Must for Ghost of Tsushima Fans
Although many fans are patiently waiting for a sequel to Jin's story, a television series may be what's needed to form a bridge between the two titles. Secret Level could provide key details that clue players into what to expect in the next Ghost of Tsushima title. It could also shed light on what the true ending of Ghost of Tsushima is, as the game ends on an ambiguous note with players given the choice to either kill Lord Shimura or abandon the samurai code to spare Jin's uncle.
The series could also revisit some of the themes that made Ghost of Tsushima such an intriguing title. Throughout the game, Jin Sakai battles between the demands of tradition and the need to evolve new combat methods to take on the Mongol invasion. It's a tough tightrope to walk, and Jin struggles to please everyone and live up to expectations, especially those of Lord Shimura. The upcoming series could continue to explore Jin's character and how he deals with tradition and being the "Ghost" of Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima Fans Should Keep Expectations in Check
That said, eager fans should keep their expectations in check just in case the series isn't as much of a deep dive on Tsushima as anticipated. Recent adaptations have been nothing short of spectacular, including Sony adaptations such as The Last of Us HBO series and the Uncharted movie, and Sony is hopefully protective enough of its IP to ensure Jin appears in quality production.
For fans starved of Ghost of Tsushima content, Secret Level may be just what's needed. There's even the potential for a crossover between God of War and Sucker Punch's IP, and it would be very exciting for Jin and Kratos to cross paths.
