Slitterhead is the debut title from Bokeh Game Studio, founded by Keiichiro Toyama of Silent Hill and Siren fame. In it, you play as a body-less spirit that can bond with powerful characters known as Rarities. You'll go on linear-ish missions in a fictional '80s Asian city, taking control of the Rarities to take down the Slitterheads and figure out just what the heck is going on in the time-jumping narrative.

Slitterhead Originally Had a More "Open" Map Structure

In an interview with Game Rant, Bokeh Game Studio's CEO discussed Slitterhead's mission structure and how the maps were originally more open.

Since Slitterhead is mainly a linear experience with mission-based progression, there's not much free time to spend gallivanting or completing side quests or anything like that, so most players should take around the same amount of time to see the end credits. Slitterhead players should be able to finish the game in about 15 hours, more or less.

In that time, we managed to obtain around 70% of the achievements, and for those who aim to get Slitterhead's Platinum trophy (or just all the achievements on Steam/Xbox), you should be able to do itin around 20 hours or so.

The achievements that might take the longest to complete are the difficulty ones, where you must clear the game in the hardest mode, and the ones where you must collect all accessories/costumes for the Rarities. Finding the collectibles in each mission is harder than it seems, as there are no waypoints or in-game maps to see where they're at, so you'll spend a lot of time aimlessly running around Kowlong.
