As in most other cool RPGs, some items in Baldur's Gate 3 are not as simple as they seem at first glance. The same is true for ingots, which raise plenty of questions among players since, at the beginning of the game they have almost no use except selling them. However, there is one more way to use them. So if fans want to find the answer to the question of how to use Ingots in Baldur's Gate 3, they've come to the right place.
BG3: How to Use Ingots
To get right to the point, there are two ways players can use them in the game:
- Selling for gold
- Throwing them
There are three types of ingots in Baldur's Gate 3:
- Gold
- Silver
- Bronze
It doesn't make much sense to accumulate a large amount of these ingots in the inventory. Instead, it's better to sell them to have additional income that can be spent to buy something more useful. And given their weight, the fact that they fill up inventory quickly, selling them becomes a really good deal. Although, in general, ingots in Baldur's Gate 3 are not as valuable as similar items in other games. If users are interested in how much these ingots cost, they can find all the prices below:
-
Bronze Ingot - 25 Gold Coins
-
Silver Ingot - 50 Gold Coins
-
Gold Ingot - 100 Gold Coins
However, another interesting and less obvious way to use ingots is to throw them. Often in the game, there are times when it is necessary, for example, to activate a trap or throw something at someone. And often there are simply no items in the inventory that would work well. However, the ingot will come to the rescue here because even the loss of one gold will not upset the fans too much. And unfortunately, there are no other options for using them in the game.
BG3: How to Get Ingots
If fans want to accumulate a large number of them for one reason or another, they will have to spend some time on farming. There are two ways to get them:
- Search in chests
- Search the corpses of enemies
Both methods are quite effective, although not every enemy and not every chest has at least some ingots. In any case, it should be understood that gamers will still be checking enemies and chests during the game to find new equipment or other interesting things. Therefore, the best solution is to simply collect them whenever possible and sell them to the first merchant they meet.
Baldur's Gate 3 is available now on macOS and PC, and it's coming to PS5 on September 6.
