As with NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat series, Injustice 2 - and its predecessor - manages to tell an entertaining story in the fighting game genre in a 5-6 hour campaign. The game lets players fight each other as superheroes in comic book-style fights pitting the likes of Batman against Superman and many more DC villains and heroes across 12 Chapters.

However, there is more to Injustice 2 than one single playthrough if one wants to unlock everything in the game.

There will likely be a long wait before fans get Injustice 3 as the studio is working on the next entry in the Mortal Kombat series. Thankfully, there is still a lot of replayability in Injustice 2, thanks to its choice-based story options and the good and bad ending. In addition, there are lots of collectibles and costumes to unlock, like the various gear in Injustice 2.

Even though a normal playthrough in Injustice 2 can take approximately 5-6 hours to beat, there are chapters with multiple characters to choose from that can provide different experiences and act as a tutorial to get used to the selection of superheroes and supervillains. According to How Long To Beat, for players to see everything in Injustice 2, it can take approximately 18 hours for completists.
