Tips & Tricks For Playing Adam Warlock In Marvel Rivals
The most important aspect to being successful with Adam Warlock is positioning yourself to ensure you have line of sight of your teammates and have support if you get swarmed by flankers. Staying with the team also means that you can get full value out of your Avatar Life Stream, which needs line of sight to work and heals multiple characters at once. Plus, you get to see the enemy frontline more often to get maximum damage with your Quantum Magic attacks.
Essentially, you want to stay close to Vanguards and fellow Strategists on your team so you can seek out some help if you need it, but also so you can always keep them up when they need help. Overall, Adam Warlock is a fun hero in Marvel Rivals that can make or break your games, and here are some tips you can use to ensure that you're always a delight to have on the team.
Balance Between Damage & Healing
Adam Warlock's strength is both in his damage and healing, but it's very important to balance these two out. Cosmic Cluster is a powerful ability that can one-shot enemies, and his normal attack can finish off low-health foes that are trying to escape. He has some of the best damage among the Strategists, so it's really important to utilize this potential to make sure that your team has enough damage overall to push the enemy team off objectives.
However, he is primarily a healer, so it's essential to balance out damage and healing. The best way to do this is to poke damage down chokes while your team is setting up against the enemy or defending a point, then switching to mostly healing when you get into the fight.
Keep in mind that you should never choose damage over keeping your allies alive, and you should find this balance between damage and healing soon enough.

Don't Spam Avatar Life Stream
Avatar Life Stream is the main way you'll be healing your teammates, and it does quite a lot of healing to multiple allies who are in line of sight of Adam Warlock. It's a strong ability with a relatively short cooldown, plus you can also use it multiple times before that cooldown starts.
As a result, however, some players may find themselves spamming it in fights. This means that you need to wait a few seconds to heal your team again, and these few seconds can be the difference between a won and lost team fight. As such, it's important to manage your cooldown effectively so you always have it available when your team really needs it.
Be Careful With Soul Bond
Soul Bond is a powerful ability to help your team stay on their feet, and it's best used with lower-health allies who may struggle against Duelists and flankers who try and swarm them to take them down. Essentially, it's a wonderful tool to help your other Strategist survive so they can also help with healing and utility.
However, Soul Bond can get dangerous, because allies who are on low health can become easy targets to get picked off by enemies once it wears off. So, make sure that you have your Avatar Life Stream off cooldown when Soul Bond ends, because you'll need it to make sure you can keep your teammates alive if the fight is still going and they're looking a bit weak.

Revive Yourself & Teammates Safely
Adam Warlock's Ultimate ability allows you to revive teammates who have been taken down, and it's one of the most powerful ults in the game in terms of turning the tide. If three or four of your allies get taken down, it feels amazing to unleash it and bring them back to surprise the enemy and have an opportunity to take the fight back.
To make the best use of it, though, it's important to remember two things.
- First, make sure that you have your cooldowns ready to heal your team back up, because they won't get revived with their full health pool.
- Second, you can get killed while using your ult, so make sure you find a safe spot to revive your team. The best time to use this ult is usually after the enemy team uses a massive Ultimate to wipe out your team, as then you'll have your team back with the enemy on their back foot.
This also applies to using Regenerative Cocoon, which has a significantly long cooldown of 105 seconds. This ability allows you to get back into the fight much quicker than you would from spawn, meaning that you can essentially negate your death and help your team out again. Adam Warlock doesn't have a ton of mobility, though, and his revive takes some time to pull off with an animation that draws a lot of attention. So, make sure you can safely revive yourself in Marvel Rivals, and you should be able to get back into the fight without much pressure.
