NetEase Games has released a first look at the new Sanctum Sanctorum map coming to Marvel Rivals with the release of its upcoming season. The developers have revealed that Dracula will act as the main antagonist of the new season's story, with The Fantastic Four joining the fight against his evil forces. Fans awaiting new content will soon be able to jump into Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls when it launches on January 10 at 1 AM PST.
The Sanctum Sanctorum is one of three maps coming to Marvel Rivals in Season 1, and will act as the location for the hero shooter's newest game mode, Doom Match. The new mode will allow 8-12 players to engage in a free-for-all fight, with the top 50% of players claiming victory at the end of the match. In addition to the Sanctum Sanctorum, New York City's Midtown and Central Park will be added to the game. Midtown will be the setting of a new convoy mission, with heroes clashing in the streets to complete the objective. Very little is known about the Central Park map, but it's expected to arrive with a large update in the middle of Season 1.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Battle Pass Skins Revealed
A prominent Marvel Rivals streamer entertains fans by revealing the full roster of battle pass skins for Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.
Marvel Rivals released a video showcasing the game's newest map, Sanctum Sanctorum. The map features a mix of opulent decor paired with bizarre sights. A glimpse into the kitchen reveals floating cookware and a squid-like creature squirming out of the refrigerator. As the camera moves through the space, one can see winding staircases, floating bookshelves, and gleaming artifacts of untold power. This is the home of Doctor Strange in Marvel Rivals, and there's even a cheerful painting of him on the wall.
Marvel Rivals Reveals the New Sanctum Sanctorum Map
For a moment, the camera focuses on a portrait of Wong, a fan-favorite character who hasn't appeared in the game until now. At the end of the trailer, viewers may notice Doctor Strange's ghost dog, Bats, resting comfortably on the floor. While this map will act as a setting filled with battle and chaos, many fans feel the developers have labored over the smallest of details. While Dracula has set a trap to ensnare Marvel Rivals' Doctor Strange, one can imagine the sorcerer conducting his business in this version of the Sanctum Sanctorum.
With Doctor Strange removed from the picture temporarily, it's up to The Fantastic Four to lead the defense of New York City in its time of need. Fans will see Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arrive in Marvel Rivals with the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. Players can expect to see Human Torch and The Thing make their arrival during the large mid-season update. With so much on the horizon for the successful hero shooter, many gamers are excited about the future of the game.
