Swamps have received a much-needed facelift in the latest Minecraft update. Now, a new sub-biome to the typical Minecraft swamps called the mangrove swamp can be explored by players in search of new adventures.
The mangrove swamp not only has a unique appearance that makes living in a swampland much more appealing for players, but it also has some sights and items that players might be interested in. Here's how to find a mangrove swamp, and what players will likely find there.
How To Find A Mangrove Swamp

The first step is to a warm region in the game. Following biome changes, these regions should spawn with a bit more logic in the game now, and weird biome combinations shouldn't be as common of a sight.
Players should look for warm biomes, such as dry deserts and lush jungles, as the mangrove swamp is the warm version of a swamp biome. Like with jungles, players should expect to wade through a lot of overgrown plants and a generally dense terrain.
What To Find In A Mangrove Swamp
There are two primary attractions that might push players to find a mangrove swamp. Firstly, they spawn mangrove trees, which are extremely unique-looking trees with exposed roots. The new mud block, for example, is also available here, along with mangrove tree logs.
Frogs will also be in abundance in mangrove swamps, and not just any frogs either. Players can find the warm region frog here, which has a unique white texture. For builders, in particular, this biome is a dream come true when it comes to new locations for inspiring Minecraft builds.
Minecraft is available on multiple platforms, such as PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android and iOS devices.
