A new leak claims to reveal all six playable characters that will be featured in Mortal Kombat 1 DLC pack 2, though fans should take the information with a grain of salt. While Mortal Kombat 1 isn't even out yet, NetherRealm has already announced the contents of its first wave of DLC, Kombat Pack 1.

Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 1 will feature Ermac, Quan Chi, and Takeda Takahashi from past Mortal Kombat games, along with three guest fighters: Homelander from The Boys, Omni-Man from Invincible, and Peacemaker from DC Comics. It will also include five Kameo fighters in the form of Ferra, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Tremor. The Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 1 DLC plans actually leaked ahead of time, and that seems to be the case for Kombat Pack 2 as well.

According to Idle Sloth on Twitter, citing a Mortal Kombat leaker who has been proven accurate multiple times in the past, Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2 will include Noob Saibot, Kano, and Sareena with Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, and Doomslayer as the guest fighters. Fans should always wait for an official announcement before getting too excited, but Mortal Kombat 1 DLC leaks have proven correct in the past, so there is a chance that this one is also accurate. As far as Kameo fighters go, the leaks claim Rain, Drahmim, Bo Rai Cho, Hsu Hao, and Moloch will round out the list.

Since Kano was a part of the original Mortal Kombat game's base roster, some fans may be disappointed to learn that he has seemingly been relegated to DLC in Mortal Kombat 1. After all, Mortal Kombat 1 is meant to be a reboot of the franchise, and so some may have hoped that all the original fighters would be included in the launch lineup. Regardless, others will be happy to see Kano is still making it to the game in some capacity, even if it will be a long wait for him.

As far as the guest fighters go, it makes sense to include more DC Comics characters. Mortal Kombat has a storied history with DC, from the Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe fighting game to various crossover characters between the two franchises that have happened in the years since. Doomslayer was previously rumored for Mortal Kombat 11, so perhaps he's finally making his debut in Mortal Kombat 1.

While Mortal Kombat leaks often turn out to be true, fans should still keep their expectations in check. After all, Ash Williams from Evil Dead was leaked for Mortal Kombat 11 on multiple occasions, with data-mining efforts even finding some evidence that he was supposed to be added to the game, but it never actually happened. The same could be true for any one of these characters that have seemingly been leaked for Mortal Kombat 1's second DLC pack, so fans should keep that in mind.

Mortal Kombat 1 launches September 19 for PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X.
