I totally understand. I've played through every Souls game and Elden Ring almost entirely solo and that's the way I like it, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I wound up enjoying Nightreign and getting out of my comfort zone.
That said, I don't think it's for everybody. If you have a couple of friends you like to play stuff like Helldivers or Risk of Rain with, it could be a great change of pace. I think it's best to look at it like that: "Risk of Rain but with Souls combat." But there's no getting around the fact the game is most enjoyable with a group, for better or worse.
