Triple H has no power over this.

Triple H is in charge of the on screen talent and content. 2K are ones behind releasing a game every year, so the call ultimately goes to 2K President David Ismailer and 2k COO Phil Dixon.

2K Sports are going to want to release a game every year because if they don't release a game, they don't make any money that year selling one.
