See AllDisney Dreamlight Valley's Villains Could Put a Spotlight on a Great Type of Disney Character
Lefou would be a great addition, especially as Gaston really misses him, as evidenced by Coconut Lefou. They have made mention of some of the sidekicks. Coconut Lefou of course, and the statue of Iago. Flotsam and Jetsum are momentarily in the game in the Vanessa sidequest bundle. I really hope we do not get the hyenas as I think they are worse villans than Scar. I do hope when Hook shows up we get Smee.
What is Your Most Consistent Gaming Tradition or Habit?
I play two games on DDLV, my main account is a female and my alt account is a male. My dog often sits in my lap when I play. He will cover his head with my blanket when he gets tired. The funny part is he knows the sounds of the Xbox. When I turn off the game, I save the game, quit the game, and then log out. Then I power off the controller. He will listen when I play and then if he hears the power off noise, he jumps out of the chair and heads to the bedroom because he knows it is bedtime. If I am just logging off to switch accounts, he just lays there. It's only when he hears the power off sound.
Disney Dreamlight Valley's Multiplayer Still Needs Help
Stating that there has been no development or expansion since its introduction is completely wrong. When this was initially released all that the visiting player was able to do was visit, that's it period. They could portal in and walk around. Since then they have allowed us to pick up and collect materials and then they released the use of different tools, in different updates. They then developed Daisy's store allowing us to trade TOM items.
Yes, there is a lot of changes that could be made. But to say they have not worked to make the function better is false.
I would love if they built an open world that all players could visit to pick up pixels and collect materials. I would love a chat function or a poster board where I could write rules like do not pick my flowers but take all the garlic you can hold. Absolutely they should include mini games, like letting us play Scamble Coin against each other. Even just letting us sit down at each others tables or inside each others houses would be cool. I would love if the game would eventually become something similar to Sims.
Why the Rise of Marvel Games Oddly Makes the Case for Disney Dreamlight Valley to Skip Its Heroes
I think that a Marvel (or Star Wars) addition would be better suited to an expansion pack version where it is optional, instead of being added to the base game. I also think that it needs to wait for at least two or three more expansions and needs to focus on the cuter side of the worlds (baby Yoda, E-woks, Baby Groot). Also, because Marvel is made up of so many different identities (The Avengers, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Howard the Duck, Etc) they could even create a DDLV type game just for Marvel.
As to who I wish would be added to the game, my choices are all on the controversial side and also may never make the game. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame's Quasimodo and Esmerelda. Tarzan and Jane. Pocahontas. Snow White with hopefully all of the Dwarfs, if not with at least Grumpy and Dopey. Lastly, Eeyore and Jim Hawkins.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path Wish List
Because of controversary there are some characters that are not likely to be added anytime soon, like Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, or Tarzan. I would love if they would focus a starpath on those three movies.
Personally I love the new longer bonus feature of the starpath. However, I think they need to make it completely optional. As in do the regular path like normal. Do the extra duties for moonstone tokens if you want. Then if they want, they can option in for additional harder duties for the bonus rewards. Don't force the bonus duties on people that just want to do the regular path and moonstone tokens.
I love getting new hairstyles and makeup, the clothing and furniture, then dreamstyles and lastly motifs. I wish they included more unisex clothing, or more clothing for male characters other than costumes (separate pieces). I would love to see some shorter painted nails, more mustache and beard looks, more hair and makeup colors (orange eyeshadow please), more jackets with scrunched or short sleeves, more pants, more boots. More foliage!!! More lighting effects!!
Disney Dreamlight Valley's Star Paths Are a Double-Edged Sword
I loved the bonus edition of the recent starpath. I have two accounts that I play. I commonly finish the first account within a few days. This time it took me a full week. The second account I had an idea of which duties to save for stacking and finished it in 5 days, except for the last dreamsnap challenge which had to wait for the following Wednesday.
The only thing I would change about the style of the current starpath is that I would make the Bonus section a complete separate path. Many people that did not want to work the bonus section were upset because they could not cash in their extra tokens. So in a way, the bonus was not really an optional bonus, it was just a really long starpath. To make it a true bonus, they should have the starpath like normal, allowing those that want, to cash in their extra tokens. then if someone wants, they can partake of the extra challenges for the bonus items.
The issue a lot of newer players have is that the starpaths want you to interact with whomever is the new character for the update. The newer players are having to rush through play to open some of these characters. I think instead of the newer players gettign the current starpath, the starpaths should be played in the same way that us older players received them. Meaning in a new player should get Pixar Fest and then Villians Starpath, etc so they are playing in the same order as we did. The premium shop could still offer items from old starpaths, in case somebody didn't complete or they want to buy it early, and when that starpath comes up, it could just be fixed to stop after so many tokens are earned.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Needs to Up its Game with One Holiday
I have asked many times on the official Discord page for a Maypole event. I think a contest between Maribel, Elsa, Daisy and Mini, and now Sally would make a great event. They could team up and build three versions of Maypoles with different ribbons found around the valley. Then have the villagers vote on their favorite. They could have a celebration that requires different foods. They could even tie it in with a log tossing contest sponsored by Scrooge. And the winner (naturally the player) would win a male and female peasant outfit, and the three Maypoles to use as decorations.
One Disney Dreamlight Valley Quest Sets A Concerning Precedent
The quests are not quests that are required for the base game. Instead of looking at it as missing content from the base, look at it as bonus content for the DLCs. Meaning if you do not have the DLCs, it will not matter to your base game. If you have the DLCs then you get a little something extra.
