As many fans may have noticed by now, Rockstar's?latest open world epic, Red Dead Redemption 2, is filled with various secrets and references to other games. Perhaps one of the spookiest easter eggs in the game is the Ghost Train in Lemoyne that is a direct reference to the Phantom Train boss battle in the all-time classic?Final Fantasy 6?for the SNES released in 1994.

For players looking to find the Ghost Train, they need to go to the North-West part of Lemoyne, right next to the Lemoyne sign. In order to find the train, mount your horse and ride up and down the rails in this area at around 3:00 am. If the train does not appear and the sun starts to rise, go to sleep and try again the next night. With some luck, if your horse starts to shudder and whinny, it means that the ghost train is about to spawn.

For those familiar with Final Fantasy 6, as can be seen in this video by IGN, the Ghost Train in Red Dead Redemption 2?is almost an exact replica of the Phantom Train in Final Fantasy 6. It is shaped and built in the same style as?the Phantom Train, it has a small room on the back of the train, bars in front and one chimney at the top.?Unfortunately there is no reward for following the Ghost Train, but it is certainly a cool encounter to experience in the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is filled with a bunch of other spooky easter eggs, such as multiple sightings of a ghost girl in the swamp, a ghost lady on the train, and a UFO easter egg, amongst many others. This game has certainly proved to be one of Rockstar's biggest games yet, as it not only boasts the biggest Rockstar map ever created, but also contains loads to do and constitutes hours of gameplay.

Red Dead Redemption 2?is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
