Solar Ash is a beautiful, open-world game that takes place in a desolate-yet-vibrant environment filled with mystery and intrigue. Rei, the main character in Solar Ash, is trying to save her planet from encroaching doom while also figuring out what happened to the rest of her crew. In order to figure out where her team has gone, Rei must find Voidrunner caches containing logs from their mission.
In the Luminous Peak region of Solar Ash, Rei can find six Voidrunner caches from the team's resident science officer, Tufte. Finding all six of Tufte's caches will unlock her suit for Rei to wear in the game. Tufte's suit comes with the intrinsic ability to highlight unclaimed Voidrunner caches when using Rei's scan ability.
6 Overlooking The Entrance
Upon entering the Luminous Peak, players will encounter two small islands before reaching the main area of the region. On the second of these islands, there's a small building with a checkpoint inside. Before going through this structure, players should look to the rock on the left to spot a Voidrunner mark.
Follow the path around the outside of the island before coming up on some black, climbable goo. Use the goo to reach the next level, then jump to the next platform before boosting over the gap to the roof of the checkpoint building. The first Voidrunner cache can be found here.
5 Inside The Underground Lava Cave
After getting past the flying Remnants in the first area of Luminous Peak and activating the blue and yellow rails, players will find themselves walking through a small cavern filled with lava. At the back of this room, players can spy another Voidrunner cache, but there's no way to reach it from here.
Keep moving out of the cavern and head up the path on the left to reach the red mushroom spore pod. Keep skating past this spore pod, following the path around the center of the island, until Rei reaches a small cliff with a Voidrunner mark on it. Below the mark is some well-hidden black goo Rei can climb, leading down to a back entrance into the lava cavern and the platform with the Voidrunncer cache.
4 The Building On The Far Island
After activating the two red grind rails using the red spore pods on the island with the lava cavern, Rei can reach the far island with the smokestack on it. After disembarking from the rail and climbing the black goo up the main platform of the island, players can find a Voidrunner mark on the small building next to the smokestack.
The glowing mushroom underneath the building will create a rail that Rei can use to jump over to the top of this building, but if players are trying to claim this cache after beating the boss this option won't be available. Instead, use the nearby mushrooms as platforms to gain the elevation needed to reach the roof.
3 Broken Cathedral Wall
The next Voidrunner cache can be found past Cyd's platform and around various obstacles until Rei reaches a broken cathedral wall that acts as a platform. Skate up the wall a short way before looking to the right wall to find a Voidrunner mark near a red sport receptacle.
The red spore pod can be found on a platform a little further on that is only accessible by doubling back. Hit the pod and skate over to the spore receptacle to activate a grind rail that leads up to a hidden platform with the Voidrunner cache on it.
2 Surrounded By Spikes
To find the next Voidrunner cache, Rei will need to head up the broken cathedral wall to the next area, navigating the jumps and the narrow path to avoid falling into the lava. Stay to the left when reaching the large smokestack to follow another path marked by groups of plasma globs.
The Voidrunner cache can be spotted just up ahead, but it's surrounded by pressure-sensitive spikes. Rei will need to skate past the cache while avoiding both the spikes and the Remnants to reach and destroy the red bulb to remove the spikes. Skate back along the path to claim the Voidrunner cache.
1 Guarded By Remnants
The final Voidrunner cache in the Luminous Peak can be found at the edge of a lake of lava at the highest point in the region. Follow the path from Cyd's platform all the way to the end to reach the lake, but getting there is the easy part.
Skate the far right corner of the area to find the first grapple point leading up to a wall covered in black goo. Destroy any nearby enemies, then climb to the top of the pillar and grapple to the next spot of goo. From here, use the time slip ability to reach the next grapple point and double jump to fling Rei around the wall and grapple again to get to the next goo spot.
Destroy the beam Remnant on this pillar before quickly grappling between the two mid-air grapple points to avoid the next Remnant's attack. Once on the next goo wall, defeat the Remnant with a few strikes of Rei's weapon, then hop off the pillar to claim the final Voidrunner cache without interruption.
