Tom Holland has revealed that the sequel to?Spider-Man: Far From Home?will begin filming soon. The star of Marvel's?Spider-Man films explained that filming is planned to be complete by February of 2021.

While these things are always subject to change given the uncertain state of the global pandemic, Tom Holland has?said that for the time being he is scheduled to complete his filming of the planned?Uncharted?movie, and then move on to his next big Spider-Man project for Marvel. As of now, it seems that Holland's scenes for the currently untitled Spider-Man 3 should be completed by February, whereupon he will embark on press tours for both?films.

Holland's reveal is somewhat surprising, as neither Marvel Studios nor Disney have given much indication about how they plan to adjust the production timeline for their Marvel Cinematic Universe Films in light of recent delays.?Black Widow was one of the bigger names to try and hold onto its theater release date until Disney finally relented, pushing it back to November 6 of this year, which was initially the slated release date for Marvel's?Eternals. Eternals, in response, was pushed back to February 12, 2021. The film planned after those two is?Shang Chi and the Legend of the Seven Rings, planned to hit theaters on May 7, 2021. Whether any of these movies actually makes to theaters as currently scheduled, however, remains to be seen.

Until then however, it has at least been confirmed that filming is planned to go ahead for Spider-Man, so it's not unreasonable to assume at least some progress is being made towards the other projects on Marvel's docket. While we may not be seeing much in the way of official news, fans can rest easy knowing that things have not ground to a complete halt, and can continue to speculate on what may or may not make its way into the next film featuring Marvel's famous web-slinger.

Marvel's third Spider-Man film is expected to hit theaters on November 5, 2021.
