How Do You Think Nintendo Is Going to Reveal the Switch 2?
Considering that Nintendo shadow-dropped the Switch reveal trailer back in 2016, just a few months before the console's launch, a lot of people think Nintendo is going to do the same thing for the Switch 2. However, I think that it's more likely that the House of Mario will drop a tweet any day now that will announce a time for a Nintendo Direct specifically dedicated to the next Switch hardware. This will ensure that everyone is tuned into the reveal simultaneously, and the internet will probably explode because of it.
Nintendo Switch 2: How Much Are You Willing to Pay for It?
Nintendo is reportedly planning on releasing its successor to the Switch sometime in early 2025, which means we have to be coming very close to an eventual blowout of the hybrid system. With the original Switch launching for $300 and the OLED for $350, I imagine the Switch 2 will cost between $350-450, give or take. Personally, I would be okay with either end of the spectrum, as I've been patiently waiting for an upgrade. And as a big Nintendo fan, how could I pass on a brand-new system that's not just a mid-gen refresh?
What Version of the Nintendo Switch Do You Own?
I have a day-one Switch. It's handled thousands of hours of gaming and it still works fine. Its fan works overtime sometimes and it's much slower now that it has hundreds of screenshots and games installed on it, but I can't say I'm not happy with it.
What Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Unique Feature Did You Enjoy the Most?
Tears of the Kingdom,?Breath of the Wild's sequel, shares quite a few elements with its predecessor, but it also introduced various unique features. It may sound like a boring choice but what I enjoyed the most in?TOKT?was cave exploration. Every time I found a cave entrance in?Tears of the Kingdom, I just got so excited and curious to find out what treasures could be hidden inside.
Share a Memory From the Early Days of the Nintendo Switch
The best early day memories I have with the Switch is without a doubt playing Breath of the Wild in the first few months of its release. Exploring the Great Plateau, wandering around Hyrule and discovering something new in every corner, collecting items for the very first time, beating each shrine without knowing what to expect. It was great!
What's Your Most Played Retro Game Using the Nintendo Switch Online Service?
I'm a big fan of puzzle games, and I was first introduced to Picross through NSO. One day, while looking at the games available in the SNES Online App, I stumbled upon?Mario's Super Picross, and I fell in love with it. I don't know any Japanese but the menus are simple enough so I can navigate through it easily. I still haven't finished every puzzle - I'm about halfway through. There are 300 puzzles to complete and they become increasingly more difficult as you progress, but it's a lot of fun, and even though it's challenging, it's quite relaxing for me.
What Fruit Did You Get When You Started Your Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island?
In?New Leaf, my island was riddled with pear trees, so I was hoping for something different when I started my?Animal Crossing: New Horizons?island. Naturally, I was happy to find out that my island was filled with peach trees instead.
What Is Your Nintendo Switch Profile Icon?
Before we could make custom Nintendo Switch icons, I set Toon Link as my profile image, but since then I change it quite regularly. At the moment, I have Mario RPG Toad as my icon with a simple pink background.
What's The Best Nintendo Switch Game For Adults?
Nintendo has always been a company that has been known to release games that are family-friendly and directed toward players of all ages. However, with the release of the Nintendo Switch, the company has been moving away from this idea and has branched out quite a bit. In fact, there are probably just as many games made for adults as there are for kids on the system, making it an outlier in the company's ecosystem of consoles. Honestly, I cannot pick just one game that is good for adults, so I am going to name a bunch: Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto Trilogy, Person 5, Dark Souls, The Witcher 3, all Bayonetta games, the Assassin's Creed games, the various Resident Evil games, Life is Strange, and Hades. Additionally, the system offers games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Odyessy that may technically be made for the whole family, which adults will absolutely love as well. This console definitely helps Nintendo break free from the label of being for kids with thi
TOKT Players, If You Had to Pick One: the Depths or the Sky Islands?
Picking between the Depths and the Sky Islands is an easy choice for me, as I didn't enjoy the dark atmosphere of Hyrule's underground. Most of the Sky Islands had fun puzzles to solve and the bright colors of the sky made them quite comforting. Down in the Depths, I hated having walls block my way because there was a river at the surface. On top of that, it was very frustrating having to throw Brightbloom Seeds in every direction just to see what's up ahead.
What's Your Dream Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Game?
There's only one real answer to this question (Super Mario Odyssey 2), but seriously, what would be the dream launch game that would make you stay up hours into the night playing religiously? There are rumors that a new 3D Donkey game is coming eventually; we're due for a new Mario Kart; and there's even the possibility of Metroid Prime 4 launching across both platforms.
Fortnite: What's Your Go-to Landing Location?
From named locations to smaller landmarks, there are dozens of spots to choose from when starting a match in Fortnite. Out of all the locations available in Chapter 5 Season 3, my favorite place to go is Sandy Steppes. I like to drop near Hope's house, as I can talk to her for extra meds or early-game shields and loot the Weapon Cases, which tend to have high-rarity loot.
Opinion: Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Shouldn't Be Marvel Themed
Fortnite has had a Marvel-themed season before (Chapter 2 Season 4) and that's more than enough. This opinion isn't based on the fact that we've had plenty of Marvel collaborations throughout the years, it's because collaboration Battle Pass themes shouldn't be a thing - they should be exclusive to event passes. For a while now, most bonus Battle Pass skins have been crossover cosmetics; this is a bummer for fans who don't really care for the franchise in question, and it demotivates them to work towards pass completion. The main Battle Pass should solely include new skins that are exclusive to Fortnite and related to its unique lore rather than crossovers. All in all, crossovers are great, but they should stick to a separate pass that appeals to those who enjoy them.
What's Your Favorite Fusion in Tears of the Kingdom?
Tears of the Kingdom's Fuse ability allowed players to come up with hundreds of combinations by mixing and matching weapons with all sorts of items. My favorite fusion combination has always been arrows and Keese Eyeballs. Even though it's fun to create ridiculously long spears and strange, goofy weapons, nothing beats the practically of having your arrows follow your enemy and effortlessly hitting the shot.
How Many Fortnite Skins Do You Own?
Whether they were Battle Pass rewards, giveaway goodies, or purchased cosmetics, how many skins do you have in your Fortnite locker? According to my locker info, I own a total of 252 skins in Fortnite. If you're not sure how to check how many skins you have, go to the Outfits section in the Locker tab and then select Options; underneath the Filters section, your number of skins will be displayed beside the "All" option.
Do You Still Remember Your First Solo Win in Fortnite, What Happened?
I got my first solo win in (Chapter 1) Season 3, and unfortunately, I don't remember much except a few details; it happened in Tomato Town, I was wearing the Rogue Agent skin, which was the only one I had at the time, and it was quite underwhelming. I had been trying to get a win for weeks and it finally happened because the other person died to their own rocket.
After 7 Years, How Does the Nintendo Switch Hold Up?
The Nintendo Switch launched March 2017, and since then, hundreds of games have made their way into the console. It's not uncommon for the Switch to have a hard time, especially when it's directly compared to the PS5 or Xbox Series X, but in my opinion, that's unfair because it's a hybrid console that needs to work just as well plugged into the TV as it does in handheld mode. It's not as potent as other consoles on the market but the Switch is still great at doing what it's supposed to do. I have a day-one Switch, and sure, it gets lagging sometimes when I'm trying to load the eShop or navigate the NSO app while a game is running. However, games - especially Nintendo games - still run perfectly. Nintendo has created some visually stunning games in the past few years and they will become more demanding in due time, so even though I'm happy with my Switch over seven years later, a successor is needed.
