I Hope Geralt Still Makes An Appearance in The Witcher 4
While it is exciting to see Ciri be the main character of The Witcher 4 along with the next couple of games, I still hope that Geralt will make an appearance somehow. He doesn't even have to be a major part of the story, it could just be a side quest or something. Maybe he shows up as an opponent in a Gwent tournament or something?
Man, WWE 2K25 Did Rikishi So Dirty...
Rikishi's not a small dude, I get that, but sheeeeeesh they did him real dirty in the 2K Bloodline Showcase. Man's out there looking like King-Size Homer...
An Oblivion Remake Might Rekindle My Interest In TES 6
It's been an absolute?age?since? The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?came out, seven years since?TES VI?was announced, and that landscape shot of an unnamed land with the Elder Scrolls 6 logo?is still the only footage we have of the next?Elder Scrolls?game. My interest in?TES 6?has severely waned in recent years, especially because of how much I didn't like?Starfield, but if an?Oblivion?remake ends up coming out this year it just might make me start getting excited about?Elder Scrolls again.
I'm Hyped For Battles in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
Honestly, while there are a few potential drawbacks that I'm curious about, the new dynamic battling system in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is a step toward what I've been craving for a long time. I love that extra push towards immersion of being a Pokemon trainer and moving around, dictating when and where your Pokemon attacks - kind of like in the anime. Besides, I always end up getting bored of the repetition wild encounters and battles bring in the endgame, so having an interactive system adds a bit more replayability. What do you think of this new approach - are you excited, or more in favor of the turn-based system?
WWE 2K Just Can't Seem To Find The Magic Of Those Old School Wrestling Game Soundtracks
There was something about those older games like Here Comes the Pain and SmackDown vs Raw that I fear 2K just hasn't quite captured yet, but the soundtrack in particular I feel just doesn't hit the same. The current lineup of entrance themes has copped a lot of criticism for just not being super recognizable or memorable, and I think the same could be said about the game's soundtrack. I could fire off a list of songs I knew or discovered through the wrestling games of old, but I don't think I'll be recalling any from this edition or any of the releases over the last few years.
Atomfall & Thank Goodness You're Here Should Do A Crossover
Thank Goodness You're Here?and?Atomfall?both take place in the north of England, and it's not an area of the world that gets highlighted in video games very often. Of course, the away each game uses northern England as inspiration couldn't be more different, but I'd love it if the little guy from?Thank Goodness You're Here?was referenced in some way in?Atomfall?– maybe as a bit of graffiti, or with a dialogue choice that lets you slap someone to start talking to them.
From Best to Worst, What Are Your Rankings for the Main Life Is Strange Games?
I'll always be a sucker for the original title since this is what started it all. However, I've been a massive Life is Strange fan all the way through, and try to replay the series every year or so in tradition. I adore each and every single set of characters and the story they take the player on, but if I absolutely had to pick rankings, it would be in the following order: 1: Life is Strange 2: Life is Strange: True Colors 3: Life is Strange: Before the Storm 4: Life is Strange 2 5: Life is Strange: Double Exposure What about you? Feel free to share your own rankings in the comments below!
Marvel Rivals Clone Rumble is a Chaotic Mess
Limited-time game modes have been interesting thus far in Marvel Rivals. However, Clone Rumble, is without a doubt, a chaotic mess. However, whether that is a good chaotic mess or an awful chaotic mess is still up for discussion...perhaps even both. There's something so particularly odd and hilarious about having twelve sets of Namor turrets all auto-aiming across the map, a bunch of Punisher turrets set up, an endless line of Iron Fists throwing hands, and so on. What have been some of your craziest moments during Marvel Rivals Clone Rumble?
Genji’s Perks Need a Major Buff
Compared to the Perks of other Overwatch 2 heroes, Genji seems to have received some rather underwhelming additions. They're not necessarily terrible, and the Lifestyle on Dragonblade can be pretty nice. But, several other Heroes who were already more oppressive before bringing Perks into the mix completely outshine Genji yet again. It will certainly be interesting to see what future Perks or Perk changes come for the DPS cyborg ninja. Personally, I'm hoping for something that adds or significantly changes an ability, or at least something much more fun to work with. What changes would you like to see to Genji's Perks?
Loki's Backstab in Marvel Rivals Deserves A Buff
Maybe it's the old TF2 Spy player in me, but I do think that if they're going to give Loki a backstab passive in Marvel Rivals, it should at least be worth something. It's pretty much the most useless thing in his kit, though it is kind of funny to?shank a Punisher who's on his turret with two clones by your side.
Monster Hunter Wilds Should Be Called Monster "Slayer" Wilds
I love?Monster Hunter Wilds, don't get me wrong, but there isn't a lot of actual hunting involved, especially not compared to?Monster Hunter World?and other previous iterations in the series. I'm not a big fan of the Seikret's auto-pathing, I miss the feeling of tracking down a monster before fighting it. Right now the game is kind of just back-to-back monster fights, which isn't a bad thing necessarily, but there was something cool about having to learn about your target and spend time preparing.
Spokesman Is An Absolute MUST For The THPS 3+4 Soundtrack
As more songs from the?Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4?soundtrack are revealed, I can't help but notice some of the best songs from both games haven't been officially announced yet. I can't imagine playing?THPS 4?without Goldfinger, Spokesman is just as iconic to?THPS?as Goldfinger's Superman in my opinion, which was included in?THPS 1 + 2.
I'm Hoping St: Blades of Greed Has More Open Levels
I’d love to see the levels become even more open, as I personally prefer navigating large spaces in stealth games over tight, linear designs.
Two Point Museum Might Be The Best of the Series So Far!
For me, the museum setting is more appealing. I've spent many, many happy hours in real-life museums, and love to seek them out in new cities and towns. This title also seems to take the humor and interactivity even further than before, making it the best of the bunch for me!
What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 14, 2025)
I just recently grabbed Split Fiction to play with my wife - what a blast that's been. What are you firing up for your break?
If You're New To Competitive Tactical Shooters, I Recommend Siege X's Dual Front Mode
Rainbow Six Siege's upcoming Dual Front mode feels like a casual take on its core attack-and-defend game mode. With three objectives per team and unlimited respawns for everyone, it's a great way to experience the game's tactical combat without the long downtime between each round of a normal match.
Monster Hunter World Does A Better Job At Map Design Than Wilds
Surely I'm not the only one who thinks the maps in Monster Hunter World are better than the ones in Wilds. While I think Windward Plains and Scarlet Forest are awesome, the rest feel a bit too similar to each other, like they're caves and tunnels of different flavors. The maps in MH World, on the other hand, all feel distinct.
My Darkest Dungeon 2 Party is Not My Party Without Dismas
Dismas is an absolute must-have for my party. Always. I take him everywhere.
The Warcraft Series Should Get Another Chance at Being Adapted into a Movie or TV Series
The Warcraft movie had potential, but they rushed the story too much. I think if they gave Warcraft or World of Warcraft the same treatment as the Fallout live-action show on Amazon, it would result in a much better viewing experience. Aside from being faithful to the source material, Fallout was good because it took its time to tell a story and I believe the same could be done for Warcraft.
Arkveld is the Best Flagship Monster in Monster Hunter So Far
Apart from Arkveld being really cool in general, the fight itself just feels perfect. The monster's moves are well-paced and (mostly) well-telegraphed, and it gives all of Monster Hunter Wilds' new combat mechanics equal chances to shine.
