Baizhi is one of the first characters you get in Wuthering Waves, and she's also one of the best supports in the game as of version 1.0. Not only is she a good healer, but she can also provide the team with a significant damage buff.
Healers are a rare breed in this game, and unless players get lucky with their gacha rolls, they'll likely have only Baizhi as their team medic. Thankfully, she's incredibly versatile, and players can bring her to any Wuthering Waves content like boss fights, events, and timed challenges.

Wuthering Waves: Every Natural Resonator, Ranked
Wuthering Waves’ Natural Resonators might not be as dominant as their Mutant counterparts, but here’s how they’re ranked in the current metagame.
Best Teams For Baizhi In Wuthering Waves
Baizhi is much like other support characters in Wuthering Waves like Verina and Taoqi in the sense that she can fit in pretty much any team. She's a universal character who offers excellent value regardless of who she's with, but unlike Verina, Baizhi scales off HP, which means she'll deal less damage even when fully built.
Out of the current 1.0 roster, Danjin is arguably the only character who needs a healer the most. While she can restore her own HP somewhat reliably, players will want someone like Baizhi to keep Danjin's health topped off. Healers in general are most ideal for characters with HP costs or for players who have trouble evading attacks.
How Does Baizhi Work In Wuthering Waves?
Simply put, Baizhi heals using her skill and ultimate. However, there's one important thing that needs to be clarified regarding Baizhi's kit, and that's regarding her Outro Skill, which reads:
- Baizhi restores HP equal to a percentage of her max HP to the next character (or other characters on a nearby team that activates an Outro Skill) every 3s for 30s. Resonators gaining this healing also gain 15% All-Type Damage Amplify for 6s.
While the text says that Baizhi's Amplify buff only lasts for 6s, it triggers every time her Outro Skill heals a character. This means the Amplify buff's duration actually lasts for longer than 30 seconds, depending on how many times the healing effect occurs. Additionally, the healing effect will not disappear even if you switch characters. However, the Amplify effect won't apply until the active character gets healed.
Basically, Baizhi is more or less the 4-star version of Verina. Both are healers, and both can apply a 15% All-Type DMG Amplify on your team. The only difference here is that Baizhi's stat scaling, but even then, she can do respectable damage as long as she has the right stats on. Keep in mind that you can farm Echoes in Wuthering Waves without spending Waveplates (Energy), so if you need a better piece, try hunting monsters in the world.
