The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the game that keeps on giving. In addition to the Sky Islands and the entirety of Hyrule, players can now also explore a strange new area called the Depths, the dark, gloom-infested underbelly of Hyrule. Within the Depths, the player will encounter mysterious blue flames called Poes, and even more mysterious Bargainer Statues. Here's everything the player needs to know about these curious entities in Tears of the Kingdom, including all Bargainer Statue locations, what they do, and how to get Poes.
What and Where Are Poes in Tears of the Kingdom?
Poes are those blue, wispy flames that can be found in abundance in The Depths, often in groups. The game doesn't initially do a great job of explaining what they are, but as explained by the Bargainer Statue in Lookout Landing, Poes are actually lost spirits that need to return to the afterlife. The Depths are absolutely littered with them, making them incredibly easy to farm and collect. There are also Grand Poes, which are equivalent to twenty regular Poes, and Large Poes, equivalent to five.
What to Do With Poes in Tears of the Kingdom
Poes exist as a currency to spend at Bargainer Statues, mysterious statues that mainly inhabit the Depths. These statues will take Poes in exchange for valuable items such as the Depths Armor Set which grants resistance to gloom.
Bargainer Statue Rewards
The Bargainer Statues will offer various rewards in exchange for Poes. It should be noted that in order to complete the sets, most if not all the Bargainer Statues must be found, as they combine their powers with each discovery.

There are seven Bargainer Statues in total, one on the surface and six in the Depths. For more information about how to find the Bargainer Statues, check out this guide.
Lookout Landing
- Coordinates: 0317, -1097, 0009
This is likely the first Bargainer Statue players will encounter. It can be found in the same tent as Robbie and Josha (once they return from the Depths) and will hint that there are other Bargainer Statues to be found. For standard items that don't require multiple Bargainer Statues to make, this is the easiest one to use.
Wellspring of Power Bargainer Statue
- Coordinates: 3711, 2594, -0412
The Wellspring of Power Bargainer Statue is best accessed from the East Akkala Plains Chasm, and is just north of the Akinatanis Lightroot. Players can place a pin in the Spring of Power on the surface to get an idea of where this Bargainer Statue is in the Depths.
Wellspring of Wisdom Bargainer Statue
- Coordinates: 3851, -1332, -0858
This statue is fairly easy to get to and notice, being on level ground. It's a short journey northeast from Usukaz Lightroot next to the Lanayru Canyon Mine, and is most accessible from Naydra Snowfield Chasm.
Wellspring of Courage Bargainer Statue
- Coordinates 0884, 2404, -0393
The Wellspring of Courage Bargainer Statue requires a bit of climbing to get to, but there are some ledges on the walls to regain stamina along the way. It's most accessible by dropping into the Hills of Baumer Chasm, finding the Muokuji Lightroot to the east, heading south from there, and climbing the wall.
Cliff Bargainer Statue
- Coordinates: -1011, 2689, 0624
One of the toughest statues to get to, the Cliff Bargainer Statue requires a lot of stamina as it is, predictably, on a cliff. Head north from Uoyoyuik Lightroot to reach the above coordinates and start climbing.
