Path of Exile 2 is an Action Role-Playing Game developed and published by Grinding Gear Games that launched into Early Access on December 6, 2024. A sequel to Path of Exile, PoE 2 is a standalone title that overhauls many of the original game's mechanics with evolved, yet traditional, ARPG progression and gameplay.

Though players can freely equip gear, Skills, and Passive Skills (as long as they meet the requirements),?in?PoE 2, Classes form the foundation of your build. There are a planned 12 Classes for?Path of Exile 2, but only six are currently available in the?PoE 2?Early Access. However, the Ascendancy system has already been added, giving each Class a choice between powerful, and permanent, Skill Trees that supplement the normal Passive Skill Tree.?

On its full release out of Early Access,?Path of Exile 2?will feature a total of six Acts in its campaign and an endgame that begins after beating Act 6. In the Early Access, though, we have three Acts that repeat on Cruel difficulty to carry players over to the endgame and Atlas map progression.

Though most Path of Exile 2?players will be satisfied with their experience in the game by understanding the foundations and game systems, some want to go further beyond and truly maximize their experience.
These advanced?Path of Exile 2?tips cover things that players should know, but won't typically matter until the late or endgame.
