Summary

  • Notable games like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Kingdom Hearts are leaving PS Plus in November 2024.
  • Co-op hit games Moving Out and Overcooked 2 are also part of the games being removed.
  • Despite the sad news, new PS Plus games for November 2024 will be announced soon.

November 18 is going to be a sad day for PlayStation Plus subscribers, as that's the next day that games will be removed from the Extra and Premium tiers of the service. Unfortunately for PlayStation Plus subscribers, a batch of games is removed from the Extra and Premium tiers every month. However, some months are definitely more difficult than others.

There are times when the games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium aren't particularly noteworthy, but there are other times when the service loses some of its best titles. The sad thing for PlayStation Plus subscribers is that the November 2024 departures include some of the most notable games that the service has to offer.

Clearly, PS Plus Extra and Premium are losing some massive games in November 2024. Two titles from Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption 2, are getting the boot, not to mention multiple Kingdom Hearts games. Co-op gamers, meanwhile, will be sad to see modern co-op hits like Moving Out and Overcooked 2 getting removed from the service.

One of the best games leaving PS Plus Extra on November 18 is What Remains of Edith Finch. The beloved first-person narrative-driven game is known for its gameplay variety and emotional story. What Remains of Edith Finch is often pointed to as one of the best games of the last decade, and so it's sad to see it get removed from PS Plus.

While November 18 will definitely be a sad day for PlayStation Plus subscribers, the good news is that they won't have to wait long for new additions. Chances are that the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for November 2024 will be announced later this week and then added on Tuesday, November 19, so there is still something for subscribers to look forward to.
