What is Your Favorite Digimon?
I tend to favor dark and spooky creatures, so my favorite Digimon is Pumpmon and Impmon. I love Pumpmon's silly little pumpkin head with the axe sticking out, and Impmon is just such a cute little jester/demon-looking guy. Aside from that, a more well-known Digimon I also really enjoy is Veemon.
What’s a Game You Enjoy From a Genre You Don’t Usually Play?
I've never been a massive fan of point-and-click games, but there are a select few that I really enjoy. Day of the Tentacle is one that always brings fun, nostalgic memories. I picked this one up as a kid and played it the entire way through, enjoying the wacky story and characters - and I've also purchased Day of the Tentacle Remastered to enjoy again, so it's now sitting in my Steam Library ready to go.
If You Could Choose One More Spyro Game to Get a Remaster, Which Would You Choose?
I'd have to go with A Hero's Tail, as this was one of my favorite Spyro games growing up. I specifically remember enjoying the music and SFX a lot, as well as having a lot of fun completing the various minigames along the way.
Avowed Is Too Pretty To Not Have A Photo Mode
One of the most disappointing things in modern gaming is when a pretty game ships without Photo Mode as a feature. It's such a shame that a pretty game like Avowed doesn't let players HUD-less photos of its gorgeous scenery without having to manually turn UI elements off and on again.?
What Are Some of the Best Non-Pokemon Monster Catching Games You've Played?
As a massive Pokemon fan, I really enjoy monster-catching games in general. There are a few that come to mind as some of my favorites - Nexomon / Nexomon Extinction, Coromon, Cassette Beasts, and Moonstone Island. And then, of course, there are also games such as Palworld, and the Digimon titles.
What Do You Think of Custom Campaigns in Baldur's Gate 3?
The dedication of modders for BG3 has continued to surprise me. Ever since the game was released I had a small hope of one day being able to play additional chapters, custom campaigns, and add-on / DLC-like content. However, I had not expected to see such progress by early 2025. There are already several additional chapters, custom campaigns, and remakes in progress as mods for the game, and if any of them get to a point of completion I will be so ready to sink a concerning amount of hours into the game.
What's the Best Midas Skin in Fortnite?
Ascendant Midas is my favorite Midas skin at the moment. It's a bit pricey (2,000 V-Bucks), but I think it looks awesome.
Avowed Should Have A Crime System – What Else Should Be Added?
It feels bizarre that there is no proper crime system in?Avowed. You can just walk up to someone's belongings and, if it's a collectible object, pick it up without any issues. It makes a stealthy, sneaky playstyle much less rewarding when you know you'll never be arrested for committing crimes, in my opinion. The game generally lacks that kind of evil edge that makes older?TES?games so morally grey, and this is just an indicator of that lack of dark choices and punishment.
TCG Collectors, Which Game Do You Collect?
I used to collect Pokemon cards like crazy when I was a kid, and after a few years break I began collecting again in my uni years. I mostly just pick stuff up from time to time for the fun of opening packs and building my collection, though I do also really enjoy collecting the shiny cards from sets such as Hidden Fates / Paldean Fates, occasional holos from the WotC sets, and pretty much any Banette and Gengar card I can get my hands on since they are my 2 favorite Pokemon.

Avowed Is Filling The Elder Scrolls-Shaped Hole In My Gamer Soul
I am honestly still shocked that we haven't seen a proper new?Elder Scrolls?game since?Skyrim?came out about 14 years ago – and even more shocked that it's been nearly seven years since the first (and only)?Elder Scrolls VI?trailer. Those games' approach to exploration and player freedom feels so good, and I'm really happy?Obsidian decided to try their hand at a Fantasy RPG with?Avowed?so I can experience something like it. And frankly, a lot of what?Avowed?does right overshadows?Skyrim?and other?TES?games. The sense of discovery and combat in?Avowed?outclasses?Skyrim?in my opinion, and it's filling my need for a classic, first-person fantasy RPG in the year of our lord 2025.
Overwatch 2 Lootboxes Are Returning & My Arms Are Opened Wide
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm certainly not against the return of OW lootboxes. I prefer the idea of earning them through the Battle Pass, so I'll be happy for their return as long as they're simply an additional free way to earn cosmetics and collectibles that players can already purchase in the Hero Gallery, and don't become a restricted method to get various skins, similar to a gacha system.
Describe Your Ideal Couch Co-op Game
Games like?It Takes Two?and?A Way Out?are incredible co-op experiences, and my ideal couch co-op game would probably follow a similar formula in a different setting. I've always thought a game that takes inspiration from?Honey, I Shrunk The Kids?would be an amazing co-op game. Not that?Grounded?isn't similar to that idea, but I don't want a survival co-op game – just a fun romp through the micro-environments of a typical backyard, fighting ants and exploring massive grass forests, with It Takes Two-type gameplay.
Which Side Character From The Last of Us is Your Favorite?
I have two side characters that I tend to really enjoy in particular - Tess, and Jesse. Tess played such a perfect part in TLOU 1, and I remember being so devastated by what happened right after I started getting attached to her character. And then Jesse was just such a wholesome dude that his sudden death hit right in the feels. Plus, seeing Ellie lose someone important to her following Joel's death, as well as knowing that Dina's kid would grow up without ever knowing his father, was brutal.
Should Companions Be Romanceable In Avowed?
As much as I love a lot about?Avowed, especially the pace of combat and the feeling of exploration and reward, I think not having romanceable companions is a big missed opportunity. After?Baldur's Gate 3, it feels like every fantasy RPG where you have companions needs to have some kind of romance system, it just doesn't feel quite complete without it. People are going crazy for Kai especially, and it's a shame that there isn't too much depth when it comes to deeper relationships.?
What is One Marvel Rivals Character You Refuse to Play?
For me, it's most Vanguard characters. Specifically, Thor, Hulk, and Peni - not because I think they're bad or anything, but simply because I just don't really have any interest in those characters. Instead, I've limited myself to Doctor Strange, Captain America, and Groot for the rare occasions in which I do end up on Vanguard.
South of Midnight Looks Promising, I'll Be Playing It Day One
South of Midnight's style caught my eye as soon as the game was first revealed. Now that previews are out, and we get to take a closer look at it, it looks even more enticing.? I hope the game's story is as captivating as its style and that the gameplay doesn't fall short. However, from what I've seen, that doesn't seem to be the case.
The Fortnite Lawless Battle Pass Has Been Revealed. Thoughts?
When I first saw the dill pickle and the outlaw Midas skins, I wasn't too convinced about the upcoming Battle Pass. However, the female skins have changed my mind entirely! They totally make the Battle Pass worth it! They're awesome. I'm excited to see these skins in action and all of their additional styles.
When Was the Last Time You Stayed Up Late Waiting For a Game Release?
I still remember waiting until the wee hours of the night so I can play The Witch Queen expansion for Destiny 2 as soon as it went live. That was also the time I learned that you should never stay up late waiting for the launch of high-profile online game expansions, because I wasn't able to login until four hours later or so due to server congestion.
Valentine's Day Special: Who's Your Favorite Video Game Couple?
I rarely grow attached to couples in video games. I very much enjoyed seeing Deacon and Sarah's flashbacks in?Days Gone, but that's about it. Unfortunately, as the story progressed, I saw another side of them and didn't care as much for them as a couple anymore. I wonder if there's a video game out there that would make me see things differently.
What Was the Last Game You Picked Up on Sale & Why?
Mine was Alice: Madness Returns. It's one of those games that I've been meaning to get for my collection for a long time, as I've always loved the aesthetic and Alice in Wonderland in general. When the opportunity came to pick it up for no more than a couple bucks in the Steam Winter Sale 2024, I couldn't pass it up.
What Do You Score Civilization 7 Out Of 10?
I can't deny that there are tons of fun elements in Civilization 7, and some of the key mechanics are completely different compared to previous entries. So, while you can feel it belongs to the?Civ?series, it's also new and refreshing. Nevertheless, at the moment, the game still needs various updates and improvements. As a console player, I've had a lot of issues with the UI that didn't feel as intrusive as when I played?Civ 6?on console. Overall, I'd rate it a 7 for now, but hopefully, that won't be the case in a few months.
What's the Perfect Valentine's Day Game?
Give other players some suggestions on what to play for Valentine's Day! I think for a solo-Valentine's Day, Boyfriend Dungeon?is the way to go.
What is Your Favorite Card From Pokemon TCG Pocket's Space-Time Smackdown?
I really love some of the full art ex cards in this set, with Weavile, Mismagius, and Infernape, in particular, standing out to me as favorites. Other than that, the full art Spiritomb card is also another huge highlight, as I'm a massive Ghost Type fan.
Life is Strange Fans, Do You Plan to Play Lost Records: Bloom & Rage?
Absolutely! I've been so hyped for Lost Records: Blood & Rage ever since it was revealed, as I'm rather attached to the LiS games and replay them every so often for my enjoyment. I'm always on the lookout for games that can bring that same love towards the characters and emotional impact that Life is Strange nails, so if Lost Reconds ends up being as promising as many of us hope it to be, I'll certainly be adding a new title into the mix!
What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 14, 2025)
Civ 7?has fully launched, Avowed?advanced access has started, and?Fortnite's live event is just around the corner, so no doubt that there is a lot going on in the gaming world right now. I'm still exploring everything there is to do in?Civilization 7, but I want to increase my?Fortnite?season level before the Battle Pass ends so those are the two games I'll be playing this weekend.
