Witch Watch has released latest news about the upcoming anime adaptation, including the release date of the anime, the theatrical release date, and the new members of the voice cast list. The Witch Watch anime is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, the director behind hit series like TONIKAWA: Fly Me to the Moon and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the assistant director is Masao Kawase, who worked on Magical Destroyers. The anime is produced by Bibury Animation Studio with Deko Akao as its writer, so it's safe to say the series is in highly talented hands.
The series tells the story of a young, human-looking ogre named Morihito Otogi, who becomes the guardian of a witch named Nico Wakatsuki. As for Nico, she also wishes to immediately become a couple with him, as she has been in love with him for a long time. The two characters are compelled to face the supernatural and extraordinary beings while attempting to solve all the unexpected issues that Nico’s magic creates in their daily lives. With amazing artwork, an adorably charming story, and an incredible production team, the series has all the green flags needed for it to be a success.
