When Task Force X recruits a young Ivy in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, they will be tasked with aiding in her experiments through Support Squad Missions to find new and powerful ways to deal with Brainiac’s forces. Task Force X will need all the help they can get in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Ivy’s Afflictions are certainly a great advantage to those who know how to use them.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Review
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League continues Rocksteady's trend of great combat and storytelling, but it's not without controversial decisions.
Afflictions can be applied to melee weapons and grenades, and each of the four base Afflictions in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League can provide some unique advantages to even the odds against higher difficulties and swarms of Brainiac’s forces that will plague Metropolis and the Elseworlds beyond. Players will want to know all Afflictions, and in particular, the best Affliction to use in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Deep Freeze
The Afflicted enemy is Frozen, taking extra Firearm damage but reduced Melee damage.

Deep Freeze will be the first Affliction players unlock from Poison Ivy, and it involves her combining her plants with coolant-based pollen thanks to Victor Fries’ cryogenic technology. As for the Affliction itself, it’s fairly decent, but not endgame worthy. Whilst the advantage of freezing enemies is clear from the fact that players have a window where enemies cannot attack, the fact that they can deal no critical hit damage and obtain no ammo drops makes it not worth it. Although, it would be nice to freeze Riddler and stop his incessant ramblings.
Venom Frenzy
The Afflicted enemy is Crazed, attacking any nearby target and gaining a health boost.

Negatives |
|
|
Stockpiling Bane’s super-steroid Venom is never a good idea, but in this case, it could be a great one. Ivy combines Bane’s Venom with her plants to create a deadly Affliction that makes everything affected by it extremely aggressive, regardless of whether that’s friend or foe.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League – 5 Tips For Solo Players
Playing solo in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League doesn't have to be hard, and these tips will help share the load of Task Force X.
This means enemies turn on enemies, but it could also mean that Task Force X turns on each other if they are also hit with the Affliction, disguising all friends and foes as green blobs until the effects wear off. Regardless, thanks to the Bane Infamy set, Venom Frenzy can be used to some great effects, especially when supercharged, which players will need to do anyway to obtain all trophies and achivements.
Diablo Blaze
The Afflicted enemy is set alight. Burning enemies take damage over time but cannot be Shield Harvested.

Negatives |

|
Splicing the DNA of the pyrokinetic metahuman El Diablo with Ivy’s seedlings can produce some combustible results. Diablo Blaze is greatly useful, especially in the endgame content when combined with specific Notorious gear from Heat Wave.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League – 6 Beginner Mistakes To Avoid
New players might make key mistakes in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but learning from experienced Task Force X members might save them.
Diablo Blaze can provide great power, and melt away at the health of enemies in higher Mastery Level content, although it may take time to get used to, and the lack of Shield Harvest might turn some players away, but with the constant flames that ensue from using Diablo Blaze correctly, even Batman himself would fear what Task Force X can accomplish with fire.
Livewire Bolt
The Afflicted enemy is Electrified. Every hit on them is a Critical Hit, but they also deal increased damage.
Positives |
Negatives |
|
|
A super-criminal metahuman that can become lightning, Livewire is a true threat to all, and with her DNA spliced with Ivy’s plants? Carnage ensues. Players can use the Livewire Bolt Affliction to zap bad guys and weaken them to all damage sources, providing every shot with a critical hit. However, this does anger enemies, making them deal more damage while Electrified. It’s high risk and high reward, but it’s better to choose a safer option in the Afflictions, especially since this is one of the later Afflictions players unlock during the main missions for Squad Support.
