Taiju Oki

Yuzuriha Ogawa

Forming the original trio of friends who ended up turning into stone during the Petrification Event in 2019, Yuzuriha is a rather unique — if not somewhat cliched — character who also serves as the love interest of Taiju in the series. After realizing the threat that Tsukasa posed to the new world, Senku decided upon a plan that would ensure the safety of both their friends by telling them to join Tsukasa's Kingdom as spies.

After Tsukasa's defeat, Yuzuriha ended up joining the Kingdom of Science and performed the duties of a seamstress, weaving clothes for the people of this kingdom. Admittedly, she does fade into the background during seasons 3 and 4, generally only showing up for brief scenes in most episodes. Nevertheless, Yuzuriha is still one of Dr. Stone's most recognizable figures.

However, while his kingdom might've been strong from a physical perspective, the lack of scientific prowess meant that his time at the top was destined to be brief from the very start.

Thankfully, Tsukasa finally comes to his senses and decides to partner up with his rival once he ends up losing the higher ground during the Stone Wars. The ensuing quest to rescue his daughter along with Senku ends up eliminating their rivalry once and for all, with Tsukasa finally seeing the light and joining the Kingdom of Science as a valuable ally.

After coming to his senses, Gen decides to switch sides and becomes a valuable ally for Senku, serving as a tactical and strategic member of the Five Wise Generals who always had stellar points to bring up at any given moment... especially during a war that was critical when it came to deciding the path that the new world would tread.

Kohaku

The bond Kohaku develops with Senku throughout the series is also quite refreshing in its own right, and she pretty quickly becomes one of the most important assets to the Kingdom of Science. While occasionally overshadowed by other fighters, Kohaku's blend of agility, resilience, and power makes her one of the most well-rounded warriors in Dr. Stone. She also has her funny moments.

Seasons 3 and 4 do not happen without Ryusui.

Beyond his contributions as a plot tool, Ryusui is also one of the few characters capable of taking on a leadership role, and he is an authoritative figure who can and does challenge Senku, without resorting to violence. Season 4's opening episode revolves entirely around a disagreement between Ryusui and Senku, and the anime emphasizes that both sides have a point.
